Terms of service

At Shoots With Mya LLC, my goal is to make every session fun, comfortable, and stress-free while keeping things fair and consistent for all clients. Please review these key studio policies before booking your session.

 

Booking & Payment

  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your date after consultation.

  • All sessions are cashless (tips excluded) — invoices are sent securely online.

  • Final payment is due the day before your session.

  • In the event of a no-call/no-show, payments are forfeited and future bookings will not be accepted.

Session Time & Punctuality

  • Your booked date and time are reserved exclusively for you.

  • Session time begins at the scheduled start time, not upon arrival.

  • A 15-minute grace period is offered, but arriving 20+ minutes late will result in cancellation or a $50 late fee before final photos are released.

  • Mini Sessions do not include a grace period due to back-to-back scheduling.

Rescheduling & Cancellations

  • Clients may reschedule once, and the new date must occur within 30 days of the original session.

  • If the photographer experiences illness or an emergency, you’ll be contacted promptly and offered a reschedule.

  • If a major issue arises on the photographer’s end, clients may receive a partial refund or complimentary reshoot at the photographer’s discretion.

Expectations During Your Session

  • Please be honest about all session details (participants, location, etc.).

  • For indoor or mobile setups, choose a flat, clutter-free space with hard flooring for safety and best results.

  • The photographer is not responsible for photos affected by uncooperative participants (e.g., refusal to pose or smile).

  • Parents/guardians are responsible for children’s behavior and safety during the session.

Damages & Liability

  • The photographer is not liable for lost, broken, or stolen items or injuries sustained during the session.

  • Clients are responsible for any damage to sets, props, or equipment caused by themselves or their children.

  • Significant damages may result in session cancellation and reimbursement for repairs or replacements.

Gallery Delivery & Copyright

  • Proof galleries are sent within 24–48 hours after your session.

  • Final images are delivered within 1 week of proof selection.

  • Download links expire after 5 days — please save your images promptly.

  • Please do not alter, crop, or apply filters to your photos before sharing or tagging.

  • Shoots With Mya LLC retains copyright ownership and may use images for marketing, portfolio, or competition use.

  • RAW (unedited) files are never released under any circumstances.

Prints & Quality

For best results, please order prints directly through your gallery.
Shoots With Mya LLC cannot guarantee color or crop accuracy from third-party printing labs.

Model Release 

By booking a session, you grant Shoots With Mya LLC permission to use select images for social media, portfolio, or marketing purposes.
If you prefer to keep your images private, simply let me know before or during your session. I’ll happily honor your wishes.
